Jawaharlal nehru Aluminium research Development Centre. An R&D "Centre of Excellence" set up for the modern Aluminium industry in India, supported by the Dept of Mines, Govt. of India and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Please follow the link.

Central Salt and Marine Research Institute, Bhavnagar. A research institution under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR, India). The institute has complete technology for the extraction of zeolites from red mud. Please follow the link.

Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. A university with expertise on utilisation of red mud for constructional material, boundry wall, and rough infrastructure pre fab blocks. The council was set up by the former Ministry of Urban Development (now Ministry of Urban Employment & Poverty Alleviation), Govt. of India, as an apex level inter-ministerial institution for promotion, development and large scale dissemination of appropriate, cost-effective, eco-friendly and energy-efficient building materials and technologies.
